The continuous analysis of water parameters is a costly procedure in practice. Usually, different systems with separate displays, different controls and individual sensors are installed. With the Type 8905 Online Analysis System presented for the first time at Hannover Messe Bürkert has developed a fluidic platform that combines monitoring of all relevant measurement parameters for drinking water analysis in one unit. Depending on the application, a suitable combination of different analysis cubes is integrated in a modular and compact body. The basic version of the Online Analysis System provides standalone analysis cubes for five measurement parameters: pH value, redox potential (ORP), conductivity, free chlorine and cloudiness. The measurement is monitored for upper and lower threshold transgressions and the measured values are stored internally and additionally in a remote system, if applicable. The introduction of additional sensor types and system functions will expand the performance of the modular system step for step. Retrofitting is possible at any time. The next step up will be in the direction of optical measuring procedures and microfluidics. Thanks to the modular design, the electronic control system can also be expanded to include additional functions and communication capabilities.
